Colm Lynch

Colm is currently doing his PhD in Applies Optics at National University of Ireland, Galway. His research involves improving the output of thermal imaging by exploiting spatial and temporal variations in the thermal scene.

Tudor Nedelcu

Tudor Nedelcu is a graduate student member of IEEE and works with FotoNation Ltd and National University of Ireland, Galway. In 2011 Tudor received his B.S degree in Applied Engineering from Faculty of Applied Science and in 2013 M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at University “Politehnica” of Bucharest. His research interests include multispectral imaging and biometrics.

Asma Khatoon

Asma is with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, National University of Ireland, Galway. She is currently working with FotoNation Ltd. Her research interest include security, internet of things, cloud computing, CE devices and blockchain.

Joseph Lemley

Joseph Lemley received his B.S from Central Washington University in 2006 in Computer Science. After working in industry and co-founding a start-up, he went back to Central Washington University in 2014 and received a Master’s Degree in Computational Science in 2016. Currently he is a PhD student at National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) and also works at Fotonation Ltd as an R&D engineer. His field of work is machine learning using deep neural networks for tasks related to computer vision.
